Problem of symbolic link on shared folders

Symbolic link did not work on shared folders of Windows host and linux guest using VMware. The error message is something like:

[cc]Symbolic link: operation not supported[/cc]

This causes problems and installation of software, including FVCOM may not be completed. Please use native hdd of linux system, guest OS using VMware.

VMwareを用い，WindowsホストとLinuxゲストで共有フォルダ機能を使ったところ，この共有フォルダ上ではシンボリックリンクがうまく機能しない問題が発生しました．原因は分かりませんが，ソフトのインストールはLinuxゲストのnative hdd上で実行すべきでしょう．かなりはまりました．
