Access to Sasaki Lab

J. Sasaki Laboratory is located on Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokyo, Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture. Dr. J. Sasaki’s office is Room 660 on the 6th floor in Environmental Studies Building, GSFS. A standard way to come to Sasaki Lab is (1) getting to Kashiwanoha Station of Tsukuba Express Line (TX), and (2) taking a public bus or UTokyo shuttle. Detailed information is available here.

(1) Get to Kashiwanoha Station

If you come from Tokyo area, you should take the Tsukuba Express Line (TX) mainly from Akihabara Station, the terminal and a big station transfer from JR Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line and Ueno-Tokyo Line, and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, or Kitasenju Station, a big station transfer from JR Joban Line, Tokyo Metoro Chiyoda Line and Hibiya Line, and Tobu Isezaki Line.

(2) Get to Sasaki Lab

After getting to Kashiwanoha Station of TX, you should come to the west exit and take any bus at the bus terminal No. 1 and get off at Todai-Nishi bus stop. See more details here. Crossing the road and entering into the campus, You will soon see a green-colored building where our laboratory is located. It will be 5 min walk from the bus stop to my laboratory. There is also the UTokyo free shuttle bus service in the morning and in the evening. If you take this free shuttle, please tell the driver that you are going to visit me at Environmental Studies Building. For details please refer to the time table.
